This presentation will provide valuable insights into lessons learned and best practices from various video wall installations, including an in-depth review of the 72-screen video wall system at the Port of Columbus International Airport. You will learn how technology affects the video wall system's daily operation and how the design, installation and specification came together to maximize aesthetics and project management. We also will review future trending of emerging display and mounting technologies to enable wall, ceiling and stand-mounted video walls for large format video walls, i.e., nine+ displays.

David Saleme manages the digital signage in-airport advertising program at the Columbus Regional Airport Authority. He was hired with a focus on concessions and real estate, but throughout his time with CRAA he has been responsible for terminal and concession development at Port Columbus International Airport, eventually including 72 screen video wall systems, more than 20 additional digital advertising screens throughout the terminal and the external digital billboard program.

 

John Sheehan currently serves as the general manager of the newly-formed integrated media division at NEC Display Solutions of America Inc. He is responsible for leading the sales and marketing efforts for all display products across different content management platforms through content providers and designers. Sheehan has led sales organizations at both LG Electronics and NEC Display Solutions and is now focused on building a new business segment targeting content providers. Specific areas of his concentration include channel management and development, branding, strategy, planning and turnaround specialist.

 

Eric Wickberg is the director of sales for display solutions for Chief Manufacturing. He has 8+ years experience with Chief leveraging a mixed background with B.S. in chemical engineering and MBA in marketing for his core responsibility of new market development - specifically mounting solutions for digital signage.
